Welcome to Passion for Great Taste. I'm Chef Jacqueline Jones, Owner and Executive Chef, and I believe every event deserves more than great food—it deserves an unforgettable experience. From our first conversation to the final presentation, I personally work with each client to create a menu and dining experience that reflects their vision, their style, and the significance of their special occasion.

My passion for culinary excellence is reflected in every detail, from selecting premium ingredients to presenting each dish with elegance and care. I am a community advocate who regularly provides food selections and desserts to local homeless shelters, small businesses and community recreation centers throughout the DMV (WashDC; PG County MD; Northern VA). Passion for Great Taste (PFGT) catering service has been the single and most reliable go-to supplier and server for delicious and exquisitely presented foods and desserts; especially the PFGT signature cakes and pies. Breakfast dishes that include PFGT’s proprietary quiche pies, shrimp & grits, waffles and pancakes (just to name a few). The lunch and dinner menus offer a variety of equally delectable choices that range from hoagie sandwiches, cheesesteak sandwiches and burgers; to Soul Food cuisine, Asian cuisine and Latin cuisine. I highly recommend PFGT for sports events, weddings, graduations, birthdays or even memorable celebrations for couples.

Passion for Great Taste was experienced by all who attended a catered event by Chef Jacqueline Jones. Chef Jones prepared a Charcuterie Table with various crunchy fresh veggies, various cheeses and crackers. Caesar Salad had plenty of visual appeal. It’s taste was a mixture of garlicy, lemony parmesan cheese that gave Caesar that kick. Baked Macaroni was yummy!! Cheesy, buttery and oozing with savory flavor. Fried Chicken wings were crunchy, juicy and crispy.

My Aunt Jackie’s crab cakes are unparalleled. She cooked them for one of our Christmas breaks, and I was drawn to the refrigerator for two consecutive days. Following closely is her fried chicken, which introduced me to the unique flavor combination of fried chicken with a hint of lemon.
